Search the skies for the Northern Lights on a guided 3-hour tour in the Denali area. The Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) are one of the world’s most spectacular natural phenomenons, and Alaska is one of the best places in the world for viewing.
The tour is designed to be mobile and flexible to adapt to change to the ever-changing conditions of Alaska. We fully evaluate conditions 1 hour prior to the tour departure time. Even when raining or cloudy in some areas, our team evaluates various routes to give the best opportunities to get views. If we have complete and total unfavorable conditions, we will reach out to you on a case-by-case basis.
The Aurora Borealis is a natural phenomenon and sightings can not be guaranteed. Many factors may prevent viewing including other weather conditions. We do our best to identify the best routes with the highest chances and are successful often, but at times, we strike out. Sightings are never guaranteed and if Northern Lights do not appear, no refunds will be issued. However, Stampede Excursions will allow guests that are on an unsuccessful tour to be placed on a standby list for the next offered tour at no additional charge. Guests on the standby list will be confirmed, in an order determined by Stampede Excursions, 30 minutes prior to the tour departure time.
